Lanterns.

Inspired by these reproduction Pottery Barn lanterns ...

I re-purposed my own, the "green" way! In a former life, these lovely electrified lanterns graced the exterior of a older Williamsburg style home. Deemed too small for today's families (I disagree, but that is a whole different post), they were salvaged before the wrecking ball hit to build a more modern up-to-date dwelling. I showed them some love, removed their electrical guts, and brought them back to how they would have been in colonial days ... candle powered!

Wouldn't they look great on your front stoop, screened porch, or even in a grouping on a buffet for a casual supper?
